and I am glad you are here! I’m drawn to work around relationships, sexuality, trauma, anxiety, and the ways we learn to relate to ourselves and others. My approach is trauma-informed, body-aware, and affirming of all identities, orientations, and relationship structures. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to you. More information on the specific approaches I utilize can be found on my Psychology Today profile.
I see each person within the larger context of their life, relationships, communities, and experiences. I use a bio-psycho-social-spiritual perspective to understand what brings you to therapy, considering how systems of power and privilege shape our experiences of ourselves and one another.
Rather than positioning myself as the expert on your life, I see myself as a guide and collaborator. I move toward curiosity, reflection, and helping you access your own knowledge and capacity for change—the same inner motivation that brought you into my office in the first place.
